AURALIE
THE 4-1-1
Full Name: Auralie
Nickname(s): Aura, Aur, Aurie
Age: 5
Gender: Female
Species: Canine
Breed(s): German Shepherd/Labrador Retriever
Theme Song: Only Time - Enya
BODY,
Aura is mostly tan and black colors in the traditional German Shepherd style markings. She has a black 'saddle' that runs up her neck and fades out just at her head. Her ears are smaller than a normal Lab, an awkward kind of floppy. Her coat is thick, but not too long or fluffy - just slightly longer than a pure Lab. Her tail looks like a Shepherd, with some fluff and fur. Her eyes are a bronzy rust color, sometimes looking redder or oranger in different lights. She's on the small side of things, considering her bloodlines, standing 22" and weighing just around 45 pounds.
MIND,

Auralie is the picture of precious. She is delicate and pretty, and has a kind of girly-girl personality to go along with it. She doesn't much like getting dirty, though hard work doesn't bother her. She tends to be extremely shy and show to trust, especially with males. She's timid and submissive, and will never pursue the dominant position in any relationship. She has some common sense, but isn't what most would consider smart. She tends to worry about her future, and longs for some sense of security that she has yet to find.
SOUL.

She'll never talk about it, even with her greatest confidants. She was born on the island, one of the true 'pioneers', and has never known the human touch. Her mom was a roamer who never stuck in one place long, and had more litters than she knew what to do with. She usually just shoved them off as quick as she could, and moved on. The rest is kind of a muddle. Her father's pack accepted her for awhile, but finally realized she was more of a burden than a benefit. Since then she's been wandering around on her own, stopping occasionally at one place or another. She was 'claimed' by several males who had hopes of producing offspring, but when she failed to produce a litter soon enough, they quickly shunned her away.
