Mercedes does not recognize her true beauty. She's always felt ugly because of all the attention her markings give her and the ridicule her siblings gave her. Her coat is a mix of blue,brown,black, and white in her pelt. Both of her eyes are a clear, crystal blue. Her body is much like that of an Australian Shepherd, though with the muscles and fluffy coat of a Husky.

There was a reason such a gorgeous piece of animal like Mercedes was shipped off to a dirty, hidden place like Gershom. That reason is that she is unpredictably aggressive. She is mostly people aggressive, but can be aggressive toward other animals. It is not hard to set off the aggression in her, though over the years she has learned to control it more. Once something sets her off, she'll give a slight growl before actually snapping, which was not enough warning for the humans which had adored her before sending her here. Despite the aggression, there is a nice side to Mercedes, you just have to find it. Only the ones closest to her will be revealed this side. Deep inside of Mercedes she is not truly aggressive, but felt she had to be to avoid the attention that she was getting for being "different" she never thought that the English words she heard meant that she was beautiful. She's a dog, she can't really understand English. Her siblings, being jealous, had made fun of her for being so differently colored.

Many dogs in the North America region are bred to produce "designer" breeds. Mercedes came from a breeding much like that. Her mother was a gorgeous blue merle Australian Shepherd with a lot of herding drive, and her sire was a large, black and white Siberian Husky with strong working instincts. All of this has piled into Mercedes. Somewhere in the lines, most likely more toward the wolf ancestry of the Husky lines had extreme aggression problems which are now showing in Mercedes. Very few from the litter turned out like her. Many of them turned out black and white, resembling their father more so than their mother. Mercedes was the exception. Compared to the rest of the litter she is breathtakingly gorgeous. The rest of the litter however has no aggression in it at all. Mercedes again became an exception. The owners adored Mercedes and wanted nothing more than to keep her and breed her to produce many more gorgeous puppies. Their goal was to become rich off of her. Mercedes had something else in mind. Not long after she started to walk around and explore her environment, her aggression set in. She became much like a wild dog, not able to trust anything around her, hunting the cats and smaller critters which filled the family home. As she matured, her hunts started to turn toward the humans. The humans could not handle this, they had children and could not risk the children getting attacked. They knew that if Mercedes ended up anywhere else but at their home, she'd be sent to the Humane Society, and euthanized. They could not bare to see that happen to her. In an attempt to save the dog they could not trust, they found out about Gershom and had Mercedes shipped there. They felt Gershom to be their only option where she might be able to live out a happy life without hurting anyone.
