Chantella is soft brown color, like a dark caramel or rust. Beneath the tangled mops of hair, she's quite dark, with a deep grey-brown hue. But the only place this shows is around her face, which stays shed out unlike the rest of her body. Her face is also marked with a white blaze, somehow giving her both an innocent and mischievous look all at once. She stands 5'10" tall to the head and appears quite round thanks to her heavy coat. Beneath her bang-like lock of hair, she has dark brown eyes, very nearly black.

Chantella, or Channy as she prefers, is a fun-loving, adventure-seeking llama. She's always causing problems and never thinks about consequences. She's always under her sister's watchful eye, and perhaps never having to truly take care of herself has led to her incredibly childish nature. She can be a flirt sometimes, but is usually more interested in playing or trying to play matchmaker for her sister. It's quite easy for her to make friends, being outgoing and quite the clown. With her around, there's never a dull moment to be had. Of course, she's also quite stupid, and very naive. The blonde jokes are always lost on her, and when everyone else is laughing, she's still sitting there scratching her head.

Channy's dam died before she was even a year old, leaving her in Stella's care. She grew to see her sister as more of a parent than a sibling, and the two have developed a very strong bond, though less of a friendship than she often wishes.
One day, they were going about their usual business, doing whatever it is that wild llamas do, and they were captured and tossed on a boat. In reality, they were raised on a huge llama ranch, so they never hand contact with humans even though the human owned them. His ranch went under and he was forced to sell, and many of his llamas were basically given away or sent to llama rescues. Channy and her sister just got lucky enough to be sent to true freedom on Gershom.
