Mare snorted, eying the slope ahead of her. She had made her way to the the tallest mountain she could find, but after the gentle, sloping mountain she had traversed, she wasn't sure she wanted to put the effort into climbing this one. But even when she had been on the top of the other, she had wanted to see the view from this one. She tossed her head, and began to walk up the slope. She used her powerful hindquarters, one of the useful things the humans taught her, drawing her hind legs up beneath her to thrust herself up, lowering her head toward the ground for balance. She was taking the time to look around, and she was thrilled as she began to emerge from the trees. She quickened her pace, looking toward the summit of the mount.
It took her probably a good half hour to reach the top, and her shoulders were slightly darkened with sweat. But she didn't care, because she felt on top of the world. All around her were mountains, but she was on the tallest one. She could see all kinds of terrain, from vast prairies to thick woodlands even to the beach and surrounding cliffs. The air up here was colder than the temperate air down there, and she breathed deep as a cool breeze buffeted her face.
THick black mane whipped behind her, thick tail slightly following the breeze. Muscles rippled from the resent exertion, and her legs stood firm. SHe was quite the pretty picture, with a dark chocolate colored pelt. She was built powerfully, and with only a few feminine touches to assure the onlooker she was a mare. From far away she would just look to be a simple bay stallion, but as you got closer you would find detail by intricate detail that modeled power, speed, and femininity. Dark brown eyes twinkled with enjoyment, for she was literally on top of the world.
She tossed her head, looking around for some scrub for her to eat. The mountain was sparsely covered with grass and small bushes at the top, so she had to amble down off of the summit to find a small patch of grass for her to munch on. Her view was still superb, facing the never-still ocean beach. It was relaxing, even from hear, to watch the waves crash on the beach rhythmically. She could almost hear the roar, despite the fact that was impossible. She could taste the salt in the air. If she closed her eyes, she could imagine she was standing on a sand dune, the salty air biting at her face as the mountain breeze was doing now. It had been a long time since she had been this content. The only thing she could wish for was for a few mares and a stallion she trusted and liked. Not like that would happen anytime soon, with her blatant feelings about things.

OOC: I hope it’s okay if I reply. ;D The stallion continued to walk up the slope that continued to challenge him, his head looking down at the ground watching every step. No matter how fast he walked or galloped the slope still seemed to be there. He really didn’t mind walking, he actually liked it, it gave him something to do, time to think and he liked wind coming through his mane. He would have only just been over half way up and there was already a nice view, he was positive this was the biggest mountain that there was around here which was a good thing, a better view of the surroundings. Sure, he did need to question himself a few times about if he wanted to climb it or not, But it was a bit late now he wasn’t turning back. He Lifted his head to see how much further there was to go. Just a bit further...
His pace began to speed up; it was almost like a slow trot. But not quite, his dappled chest was covered in sweat, and he was breathing heavily but he really didn’t care, He’d be able to rest once he got to the top. He lifted his head once more, and he was just a few minutes away from the top, a grin came across his face. He felt like he had beaten the challenge of the slope, winning his prize, a lovely view and a nice cooling breeze. He scanned the view that he had won he could see a lot of the island everything from forests to beaches and cliffs. He shut his eyes and let the breeze cooled him down. His long grey mane was flying around wildly behind him, as well as his tail he really didn’t mind it felt nice.
He was an ordinary, yet good looking stallion he was quite dull but he didn’t really need to stand out. His chest was rippled with muscles, and his neck was quite thick and he had a dappled grey coat. He was quite proud of his coat; back when he was a race horse witch wasn’t all that long ago, he was usually the only grey horse out on the track. If only his owners appreciated that, they were so cruel he grunted at the thought of them. He sighed next, he wasn’t with his owners anymore, he was sold and away from those horrible people.
He looked around at the view again, he looked behind him this time, and he saw another horse. He tilted his head, ‘’As if I didn’t see her before” he thought. He took a step towards the horse, he was pretty sure it was a mare. He cleared his thought with a small cough then introduced himself.’’ Hello, I’m Poseidon; you may call me don, if it’s easier. But I’d prefer it if you didn’t’’ he shudder slightly at the nickname his horrid owners gave him, he had always hated it. “what may I call you by?” he was trying his best not to show off, he was always a show off around other horses. He continued to look at the mare waiting for her reply.
