Pyr has his own ideas about life. He insists that you live it while you can, and not worry about tomorrow. However, he likes to plan ahead. He uses his philosophy so that he doesn't have to censor what he says to any degree. If he likes you, you'll know. If he doesn't, he may begin dive bombing you. When, however, he likes you (or doesn't and you manage to change his mind) and you spend enough time for you, a loyalty will grow that can't be broken. He loves deep, and really enjoys the company of others. If there isn't someone else around, he's basically lost. He doesn't mind going off and hunting or doing other small tasks alone, but he's pretty needy. He has to have someone to come back to. Since there aren't any Kestrels around Gershom, he made that bond with Emery. While he still yearns for a female Kestrel, he's quite content with his horse friend, although he's quite blunt even to her and her friends. They've been together ever since he was a juvenile, and their bond runs deep in his breast.
SOUL.

Pyrrhus was born on a small farm where his mother and father were living. However, the owner of the farm didn't like having that many Kestrels around. The first chance he got, he robbed the nest. It was too late, because only Pyr was resting there. The farmer was mad enough that he had only gotten one of the birds that he quickly took Pyr to the boat. There Pyr was frightened and afraid, and was drawn to the large mare who seemed to be in the eye of the storm. She was calm, if apprehensive about what was coming, and her presence comforted the young bird. When they were released, he was loath to go away from her. She liked him as well, and they've wandered together ever since, with him looking for but not seeing a female Kestrel to impress.
