Emery is a happy mare, but she's pretty quiet. She's extremely gentle, and doesn't seem stuck up about the face that she's flashy or has good movement. She can be stubborn, and if she doesn't want to do something she'll fight her way out. She's quite fearless, and has gotten in her fair share of fights to know her way around and know how to protect herself. She's big and well muscled, and isn't afraid of the stallions that may want to hurt her. She's a hopeless romantic, but that's a side of herself she only shows to Pyrrhus, and she feels it is enough of a weakness to keep it buried. she has a strange fascination with the night, and that is her favorite time of night. She can barely see herself, so she makes the perfect shadow. She can be a little of a practical jokester, especially at night, but she doesn't do any real harm.
SOUL.

Emery was born on a Friesian breeding farm, far more mischievous than they'd had to deal with. She was intelligent, and would get out of her stall and wander around until she was caught again. Messing with the humans was her private amusement, but she tended to get nasty when pain was inflicted on her. She had a mighty survival instinct, and pain and new things were not her things. She continually spooked at new objects until she had been around them far longer than the other horses needed. While she was purebred, she was too much trouble. After one ride on her with spurs or something stronger, potential buyers left shaking their head or in an ambulance. The only place they could think of to get rid of the extra mouth to feed was Gershom. A little bird got stranded on the boat, and he took to keeping the large mare company. They became friends and did their best to take care of each other. When they landed, they stuck together and wandered for a couple of years before more animals started getting dropped off and more of their kinds arrived.
